Company & Job Description

Our client is a subsidiary of an international bank based in Europe. They were established almost three years ago as an IT hub initially to offshore application development and selected production support. Today, the company provides expert level core banking consulting and implementation services to its commercial banking customers based in South East Asia & Pacific Ocean regions. As the company grows, so do the services rendered out of Bangkok and need to prepare itself for a foreseen growth curve in the very short term. This growth will require strong people behind it to ensure its success, As part of this growth, our client now requires a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Middleware for its group in Bangkok.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Excellent English proficiency level mandatory
• The applicant must be released from his military service obligations.
• Autonomous, can work well under pressure and responsibilities, fast learner, motivated, reliable, good team spirit, leadership, good communication skills.

Requirements:

• Thai nationals, aged 30 to 40, living in Thailand
• At least 7-10 years technical experience in Virtualization environments, VMware ESX (preferably ESXi), VMware Virtual Center, V-Motion, HA, DRS. Related VMware as Converter, Backup
• Must have strong knowledge in Linux or UNIX platform and Windows.
• Have strong knowledge in SAN environments, ideally NetApp and Dell medium size solutions.
• Have good knowledge in general networking.
• Have knowledge of Database infrastructure requirement.
• Troubleshooting skills are required.
• Excellent analytical troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills
• Able to deal and handle difficult situations and work under time constraints.
• VMWare Certification will be advantage (VACP or VCP).
• Have knowledge ITIL concept will be advantage.

Language and Soft Skills:

• Good communication in English.
• Ability to interact effectively with other technical and non-technical resources in a team environment.
• Customer Service Oriented and ability to quickly establish comfortable & effective working relationships.
• Strong oral and written technical and interpersonal communication skills including sensitivity to diverse global work culture and community.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex data and follow problem through till resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
• Customer service oriented.
• Highly motivated – self-starter wanting to make a difference.
• Ability to solve problem remotely and meet deadlines.
