Award-Winning Executive Search Firm Attends City Infrastructure Philippines 2016

Great Networking!

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines attended a second infrastructure conference in Manila in as many weeks. Four recruitment consultants from Monroe attended City Infrastructure Philippines 2016 in Manila on Nov. 16-18.

Jubie Bartolay, the assistant division head of Monroe Philippines’ Industrial Division, said the second large infrastructure event of its kind in two weeks attracted large crowds of both local and international construction companies seeking to benefit from the country’s booming economy and self-proclaimed “Golden Age of Infrastructure.”

“It’s an exciting time for the country, for the construction industry and for recruitment, as shown by the number of people who have approached us seeking information about sourcing and securing talent for technical or senior executive-level jobs,” Jubie said.

Samantha Joy Laurel Garcia, also with Monroe’s Industrial Division, which covers manufacturing, oil and gas, energy and construction, said the interest was not just from companies from the Philippines.

“We are seeing interest from around the world and Asia, particularly from Korea and China. They believe that Filipinos are not only skilled workers, but they are also very passionate in their work.”

The three-day City Infrastructure Philippines at the Philippines Trade Training Center in Manila showcases products from air and water management, building construction, as well as the power and energy industry.

Monroe consultant Deborah Obispo said the conference covered a number of key areas that were important to help the Industrial recruiters stay as up to date as possible on the latest industry trends and developments.

“The conference covered areas like the impact of the increased business confidence, the investment in both public and private infrastructure projects and driving the Philippines’ economy forward,” Deborah said. “Staying on top of these issues is important for a recruitment consultant to be in the best possible position to help client companies with their individual recruitment needs.”

Liberty Miranda said the event showcased the latest technology and products, services for green and smart cities, highways, rail, underground drainage and logistics infrastructure, with “a very special emphasis on the use of trenchless technology that minimizes the impact of the development and inconvenience.”

“It’s an exciting time for development in the Philippines and Monroe, already on the Philippines most respected recruitment companies, is looking forward to playing our role in this growth,” Liberty said. “Monroe’s industrial division has many years of experience in the Philippines and we have placed hundreds of executives with leading national or multinational companies operating here.”
