Monroe Consulting Group Mexico is recruiting on behalf of one International Company who provides integrated post-harvest solutions and services to the global fresh produce industry. The company’s mission is to enable its customers to improve returns, gain operational efficiencies and ensure a safe food supply via the application of smart, useable technologies. Our respected client is seeking a Country Sales Manager profile with at least 5 years of relevant commercial experience in global fresh produce industry. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, technically savvy Country Sales Manager in México.


Duties:
• Achieving Annual Revenue/OI [Machine Sales] Targets for Products in the territory through Agent
• Maintaining close contact and fostering relationships with the major key accounts
• Regular visits to customer sites meeting engineering, operations and maintenance personnel - vertical depth of contact.
• Regular visits with agents to customer base.
• Regular visit with Regional Director.
• Generation of competitor information.
• Propose new products to Product Management to meet customer needs.
• Be present and assist in new machine startups.
• Communicate to Compac service manager warranty / service issues.
• Attendance at trade shows
• Follow up on all customer questions regarding their products and support issues.
• Review customer layouts
• Technical resource for customer
• Ensuring all relevant proposals, order confirmations, updating CRM package are maintained in accordance with company policies


Responsibilities :
• Responsible for indirect Sales of equipment to Customers in Mexico and potential countries abroad – Colombia
• Fostering and maintaining excellent relations with customers.
• Update of Sales Force database for territory.
• Proposal generation to territory customers meeting Compac policy on pricing and terms directly or through Compac resources.
• To ensure regular visits made to customers in a planned and cost-effective manner.
• Keeps Regional Director informed on any issues which impact sales effectiveness and customer relations.
• Be technically proficient regarding all products sold.
• Offering customer solutions to their problems rather than stand-alone products
• Report on competition sales and product activities to Director.


Candidate Profile
• More than 3 years of experience in selling large capital industrial equipment in an industry
• Must have excellent commercial skills
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large sales areas and key accounts
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required
• Excellent teamwork skills are critical
• High tolerance for working under occasionally stressful conditions
• Understanding of the fresh food industry is a significant plus
• Ability to travel intensively both domestically and internationally
• Good technical background is a must
