Monroe Consulting Group Chile is now looking for a Financial Controller Jr. for its client, a leading multinational water treatment solutions company to join it´s Chilean subsidiary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Significant hands-on responsibilities across all financial, procurement and other administrative aspects of Chile activity.
  • Account managing, invoices, payments approval, relation to vendors.
  • Preparation, analysis and reporting of all local financial aspects to headquarters (Finance managerial).
  • Preparation, analysis and reporting of Company's quarterly financial reports.
  • Responsible for Chile´s on-going accounting.
  • Responsible for Chile's tax reporting and analysis.
  • Establish and implement improvements on accounting procedures.
  • Planning, controlling and reporting local budget.
  • Ad-Hoc taxation & accounting projects.
  • Review client’s requirements; prepare financial and general administrative information for projects and on-going services (tenders, projects documentation).
  • Preparing and controlling monthly salaries report for headquarters’ approval.
  • Permanent review of local banking accounts and movements.
  • Maintaining an updated control and record of invoices, costs, expenses and payments, to make the monthly report.
  • Relate with banks, audit firms, insurance companies and other accounting services.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related degree (certificated is a must).
  • At least 3 years of related work experience as controller or assistant controller in anindustrial company.
  • Experience in auditing global companies.
  • IFRS knowledge in order to prepare reports according to international standards.
  • Ability to thrive under high pressure environment with strict deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, well-organized and with ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent English Skills – Advanced.
  • Wide Office knowledge: excel, word, power point.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
