International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group represents a well-known multinational toy manufacturer in searching for a HSE Manager responsible for all health, safety, and environment related matters of one of their flagship factories in the North. This role is only open for Vietnamese candidates. Reports to General Manager (Chinese). Based in Hai Duong. Works from 08:00 - 17:00, Mon - Sat.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
  • Oversees the implementation of Safety and Environment System procedures and provides relevant stakeholders updates and highlights in Legislation and Company Directives.
  • Monitors the overall performance & lead the team to achieve the business objectives related to HSE.
  • Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided.
  • Devises safety audits & risk assessment
  • Involves in accident / incident investigation.
  • Completes the analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvements
  • Coordinates to organize any in-house safety training sessions
  • Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.
  • Advises & assists business leaders in dealings with external stakeholders in all issues concerned with Health & Safety at work
  • Other relevant tasks to be assigned by General Manager

Job Requirements:

  • At least 05-years proven experience in similar roles in Manufacturing field
  • Good English or Chinese communication is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental technology
  • HSE related qualifications and certificates: ISO14001, ISO45001 or equivalent TCVN, QCVN standards
  • Ability to cooperate, handle & build good relationships with internal & external stakeholders including other departments, governmental agents, or representatives.
  • Outstanding leadership, critical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, hard-working & self-disciplined
