Human Capital Manager - Mining (based in South Kalimantan)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on mining. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a Human Resources professional with at least 15 years' experience with a mining company for the job of Human Capital Manager. The job is based in South Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Directly reports to the Director
  • Responsible for the development, execution, monitoring and reviewing of all aspects of Human Capital Management functions in compliant with the policies and practices of the Group and the laws and regulations and other regulatory and advisory authorities
  • Develop a Strategic Plan in relation to all functions in Human Capital Management
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection process of all personnel
  • Manage compensation and benefits in accordance with the policies and practices of the Group, the Laws, and governmental regulations
  • Develop Training Need Analysis in order to support the establishment and empowerment of Performance Management system
  • Develop policies and procedures for career planning, mutation, demotion, and promotion
  • Manage Personnel Management Control and payroll activities
  • Responsible for any possible activities related to Industrial Relations
  • Maintain good relationship with Social Community and Government Relation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or any related major from reputable university
  • Strong planning, analytical thinking, execution, and problem solving, by planning the work and working

  • Willing to stretch to achieve more and continuously improve business performance
  • Experience in managing more than 5 direct reports is preferable
  • Skill on overall general management with a focus on people development achievement

  • Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with the team and across to other departments/ companies (matrix organization)
  • Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
  • Mastering the technique of structuring organizational structures.
  • Mastering effective organizational analysis, manpower planning, workload analysis, KPI-based "performance appraisal", balanced scorecard, employee scorecard and HR scorecard
  • Familiar with Mercer Benchmarking Methodology and IPE concept
  • Willing to be based in South Kalimantan
