Job Responsibilities:
- Write robust and quality code for our Android app.
- Set best coding standards and practices and drive excellence in the team.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of your project.
- Work with our designer to produce the best user experience.
- Integrate third-party APIs.
- Do code reviews, share your ideas, and participate in group discussions.
- Assist with our customer's inquiries and challenges.
Job Requirements:
- Good communication in English (Verbal and written)
- 4+ years of professional Android development experience
- Experienced with Kotlin (ideally 2+ years)
- Demonstrable experience with beautiful mobile applications
- You have experience with automated tests - UI, unit, and integration.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- You are independent and take responsibility for the quality of your code.
- A committed can-do attitude, and a problem-solving mentality.
- You're always looking to learn and improve, to expand your skillset.
- The ability to work well in a team environment: you know how to communicate, how to push back, how to share your opinion, and follow through on your commitments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Firebase SDK
- Experience with RxJava
- Experience with MVVM and Google Jetpack components
- Knowledge of Material Design 2 and a keen eye for detail
- Other development experience (React, C#, Swift)
- You're familiar with horticulture or the horticulture industry
