Our respected client is seeking a Software Tester for the job of Software Quality Assurance Tester. The job is in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines and offers hybrid work arrangement. (2 days on-site Tuesday and Wednesday and 3 days WFH)
Job Summary:
The Software Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for developing test plans and test cases and for assisting with resolving important testing related issues. Involved in all phases of testing- test planning, execution, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write test cases and test plans for the project
- Execute test cases
- Investigate potential defects and discuss them with developers
- Log defects during the test execution phase
- Report test results to the project manager
- Participate in business requirements review sessions with the peers and business users
- Organize and participate in test plans walkthroughs
- Test the applications in functional and system integration testing
- Write traceability matrix to reflect test coverage
- Prioritize test requirements and organize test cases accordingly
- Act as subject expert matter in the functionality assigned for the project
