Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with a leading organisation in the Information Technology sector to hire an AI Deployment Strategist / Project Manager. This opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Position Overview
the AI Project manager will drive the successful deployment of AI-driven and digital transformation initiatives by bridging business objectives, technical delivery, and operational execution. They would lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable technology solutions that create measurable business outcomes and support organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of technology transformation initiatives from discovery and business case development through deployment and value realisation.
• Define measurable success metrics, including business impact, operational improvements, and automation outcomes.
• Translate business objectives into structured execution road maps aligned with strategic priorities.
• Prioritise initiatives based on commercial impact, feasibility, and business value.

• Analyse operational challenges and identify opportunities for process transformation and optimisation.
• Shape deployment strategies that balance technical feasibility with commercial objectives.
• Develop phased implementation plans with clear governance and milestone tracking.
• Support executive-level discussions through solution frameworks, business cases, and transformation road maps.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Technology functions.
• Implement Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery frameworks to support successful project execution.
• Manage project scope, dependencies, risks, stakeholder expectations, and change management activities.
• Ensure delivery aligns with security, compliance, governance, and operational requirements.

• Develop repeatable deployment methodologies and delivery frameworks.
• Improve project management processes, reporting standards, and risk management practices.
• Contribute to strategic discussions regarding product evolution and technology direction.
• Facilitate feedback loops between customer implementations and future product enhancements.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
• Support solution scoping, proposal development, and project planning activities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations at both operational and leadership levels.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion, optimisation initiatives, and long-term value creation.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in Project Management, Product Management, Business Consulting, Technology Delivery, or related fields.
• Prior experience in Engineering, Software Development, Technical Operations, or technology-focused environments is preferred.
• Experience working on AI, analytic, digital transformation, data platform, or enterprise technology projects is highly advantageous.
• Professional Project Management certifications (PMP or equivalent) are advantageous.

• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging technology solutions.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, enterprise technology deployments, or business process optimisation initiatives.
• Ability to bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Understanding of enterprise business processes, governance frameworks, and stakeholder management.
• Experience developing business cases, implementation road maps, operational frameworks, and transformation plans.
• Exposure to AI product deployments, technology implementation projects, or go-to-market initiatives is advantageous.
