Our respected client is seeking a highly driven commercial leader to pioneer and grow their business in Thailand. This job is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for responsible the full spectrum of business development, from crafting local sales strategies to achieving annual revenue targets. This role requires a blend of strategic planning and technical expertise to manage key stakeholder relationships, selling directly to manufacturing plant end-users as well as through distributor networks.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales strategy to promote products and services, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
Achieve sales targets, expand market share, and penetrate new customer segments across Thailand.
Establish and track key performance metrics, ensuring consistent progress and achievement of commercial goals.
Collaborate with the regional leadership to design and implement sales growth initiatives tailored specifically to the local market.
Work closely with technical service and parts teams to optimize customer satisfaction and equipment uptime.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations, from initial order processing to after-sales service.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to develop actionable strategies for sustainable growth.
Identify and explore new business opportunities to strengthen the company's market presence in Thailand.
Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key accounts, plant end-users, and business partners.
Provide regular reports and updates to regional management, detailing market developments, performance metrics, and strategic areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, or a related technical field.
Years of experience in sales and operational roles specific to heavy machinery, construction equipment, or industrial plant solutions.
Proven experience with similar infrastructure equipment is a strong advantage.
Strategic thinking with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation and account management skills.
Good communication in English, with excellent presentation and relationship-building abilities.
Willingness to travel frequently across Thailand.
