Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a multinational food company. Our respected client is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager who is responsible for the sales and marketing performance of both industrial channel and food service. This position will report to the Business Manager in the Philippines.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Achieving in-market sales by driving the growth in food service and industrial channel.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and analyzing product, channel, and customer sales trends to maximize sales opportunities and achieve desired sales results.
  • Working with distributor sales team to ensure execution excellence in 3 key aspects (i.e., accounts/outlets penetration, product & SKU portfolio expansion, and joint promotion activities implementation.)
  • To build and strengthen business relationship with the key distributor/s, sub-distributors, and wholesalers, where relevant to drive product distribution or penetration.
  • Identify market potential to expand customer base in the food service and industrial channel and extend product range usage of the customers.
  • Regularly visit the key cities in the region to identify business opportunities and issues.
  • Provide market intelligence regarding to market trend and competitor activities in the respective region and provide recommendations for follow-up action whenever required.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • Experience in food service or industrial channel
  • Displays potential for taking initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in local language and English.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and determined to succeed in a challenging environment.
  • Willing to travel out-station and overseas where required.
  • Computer skills: PowerPoint, Word and Excel, MS Outlook, Video Call Software (e.g., Zoom, Teams)
  • Driving Skills (with valid driver's license)
  • Basic Cooking Skills
