Our distinguished client's expertise and services include assurance, tax and advisory among others. They are currently seeking an exceptional Audit Manager with 5 years of experience in External Audit.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage assurance engagements by developing the audit strategy with superiors and carrying it out in accordance with the firm's guidelines and procedures.
- Track the assurance team's performance against the plan making adjustments, if necessary, as well as handle engagements economically by directing the team's performance.
- Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships and growth prospects by analysing ways to apply the firm's expertise and services.
- Mentor and guide juniors and team members by sharing knowledge and providing opportunities for them to enhance their technical competencies.
- Carry out timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback.
Job requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant professional qualification in the field e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia.
- At least 5 years of work experience in External Audit.
- Excellent communications skills, strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen.
- High level of professionalism, competence and integrity.
- Able to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
