Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading organization in the insurance sector. Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Business Analyst to support insurance product enhancements, process improvements, and system implementations.
This role will be instrumental in bridging business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring that insurance products and processes are effectively designed, tested, and deployed. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, document requirements, and drive system integration to strengthen operational efficiency and compliance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and document user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct product and system analysis to recommend enhancements and improvements.
- Participate in system configuration, product setup, and integration with billing, claims, CRM, and other peripheral systems.
- Support migration, data conversion, and validation activities.
- Work closely with developers, QA, and UAT teams to ensure deliverables meet business specifications.
- Serve as liaison between business units, IT, and vendors to align project objectives.
- Contribute to project planning, documentation, and implementation timelines.
- Conduct walkthroughs, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for end‑users.
- Provide post‑deployment monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master's degree or certifications (PMI‑PBA, Lean Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum) are an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in insurance or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of insurance product structures, policy administration, claims, billing, and underwriting.
- Proven experience in core insurance system implementation or migration (e.g., LifeAsia, Guidewire, TCS BaNCS, Oracle Insurance).
- Familiarity with business process modeling, workflow design, and system integration concepts.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to balance business priorities with technical constraints.
- Professional certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA) or Agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner).
- Hands‑on experience in data analysis, API integration, or testing coordination.
- Background in project management or change management within insurance.
- Experience working with cross‑functional or regional teams.
