Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a garment company that specializes in in the production and sale of high-end suits and professional wear. Our respective client is looking for a Business expansion Executive who will liaise with internal and external parties to ensure store opening as per schedule. This role requires onsite reporting from Mondays-Fridays and will be reporting to the Head of Overseas Marketing.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Regularly analyze the business reports, understand the challenges of the business with regards to company's direction, and prescribe countermeasures and propose improvement points to management
  • Manage store opening activities, mall related corporate events, activities and appointments
  • Develop positive relationships with landlords, developers, landowners, investors, bankers, and negotiate equally as a key representative of company
  • Plan, identify, surveying, evaluating, and proposing potential areas for expansion
  • Negotiate rental and tenancy terms as needed
  • Examine and advise legal risk in the lease/tenancy agreement and prescribe countermeasures
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure store opening as per schedule
  • Ensure all the internal and external SOP and policies are observed
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management Business Studies/ Administration/Management, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years work experience in retail management spa
  • Key exposure should include retail leasing, strategic expansion, store development (scrap and build, renovation, etc.)
  • Must have a wide range of networks with developers, landlords, retail property owners
  • Must be computer liberated with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Systematic, strong organized and independent
  • Good understanding of laws, rules and regulation related to retail fashion industry
  • Ability to travel within the country and overseas if required
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Tagalog, proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage
