Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Digital Bank for the role of Chief of Lending. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Responsibility:
- Providing leadership to the lending department, overseeing all aspects of the lending process, and developing strategies to improve profitability
- Reviewing loan applications and evaluating applicants' creditworthiness to determine whether to approve or deny loans
- Ensuring that all loan applications are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Communicating with customers throughout the application process to answer questions and ensure that they are satisfied with the progress of their loan
- Reviewing customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure that payments are being made on time and that any potential issues have been resolved
- Acting as a liaison between lenders and borrowers to facilitate the lending process
- Managing relationships with borrowers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Recommending new products or services that can help meet customers' financial needs
- Establishing lending policies to ensure that loans are issued in accordance with federal regulations and company guidelines
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field, master's degree in business administration is advantage
- at least 15+ years of experience in the banking industry.
- Experience handle loan officer, mortgage broker or bank teller, etc.
- Experience in a managerial or executive role.
- Need the following skills in order to be successful: Communication, Leadership, Problem solving, Financial knowledge, Customer service.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful lending strategies
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local lending regulations
- Strong understanding of economic and market trends
- Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals
