Compliance & Operations Advisor Asia and International

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational engineering consultancy company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 3- years' experience in compliance for the job of Compliances & Operations Advisor. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Compliance Manager with day-to-day Asia & International company secretarial compliance
  • Respond to and resolve level 1 compliance queries across A&I operations, escalating complex or high-risk matters as required.
  • Provide timely overviews of company secretarial and compliance matters to support visibility of key risks and obligations.
  • Provide support across corporate structures, legal compliance and governance activities, including: Maintaining company records, preparing Board resolutions and coordinating signatories, ensuring documentation and record keeping is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain compliance registers, SharePoint sites and related systems, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy, and supporting process improvements.
  • Supporting the establishment and closure of international entities, including research, coordination and administrative tasks.
  • Work alongside Operations, Finance and Tax teams to support operational and commercial aspects of entity management.
  • Support policy updates and contribute to internal policy, risk and assurance activities.
  • Provide accurate advice across Policy & Business Risk activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law or related discipline
  • 3-5 years' experience in a corporate, professional services, legal or financial environment
  • Exposure to company secretarial, compliance, finance or corporate administration activities is advantageous
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
