Marketing Executive, Brand


Executive Recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Technology division is currently recruiting on behalf of a global academic publishing organization. Our distinguished client is currently seeking for a Marketing Executive with at least 3 years' experience within the digital publication industry across SEA.

The winning candidate will oversee and develop, marketing campaigns to promote our client's products and services, campaigns or events that align with consumer behavior patterns and business goals in the Australia/New Zealand, Hong Kong and Macau markets. This candidate will work with internal teams to coordinate and execute strategies as well as external parties like vendors, creative teams, distributors, and agents to ensure success of the overall business objectives.

Job Description:

  • Collaboration with an array of cross-functional team members and external vendors is essential to increasing marketing's contribution to revenue.
  • Manage all marketing activities for Australia/New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Macau markets. Develop, implement, and manage effective marketing campaigns for all digital resources and book business.
  • Develop the marketing campaigns for responsible territories in line with company objectives, drive organization brand awareness, librarian/faculty engagement, lead generation and usage driving.
  • Organize and manage online/offline conferences, events, and workshops, to ensure success to the event as well as meeting the objectives set. This includes hosting webinar and the post event follow up.
  • Analyze and report post campaign results, and future learning elements.
  • Work closely with the Digital & Customer Marketing Manager to create, curate and disseminate engaging content for social media and email campaigns aligning to the overall strategy (i.e., social media content, email campaigns and articles).
  • Analyze marketing campaigns and makes recommendations for adjustments and key learnings based on those results.
  • Working closely with design agencies and vendors, as well as global marketing teams. Ensure all points of brand and communication assets are current and accurate adhering to the corporate/brand guidelines.
  • Working closely with Brand Communications Manager to maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives, resources, and materials, as well as supporting the team with brand promotion activities, brand survey, and brand audit etc. across APAC region.
  • Support on author care with collateral creation and coordinate with book distributors to ensure that the books are available for purchase.
  • Supports and presents during sales conferences if applicable, supports on other tasks assigned by managers.



Job Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Business Management or relevant
  • 3-4 years of Marketing experience
  • Effective writing, speaking, presenting and active listening skills
  • Proficient in both Mandarin and English
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, tech savvy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with management, team members, clients and customers where applicable
  • Familiarity with content management systems, webpage analytics, customer relationship management and other relevant software
  • Data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making
  • Inquisitive, innovative, proactive, meticulous and can-do attitude
  • Creativity, adaptability and familiar with current marketing trends
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Project management skills, like goal setting and deadline management
