The Corporate Financial Controller is responsible for assisting in the overall management and supervision of the Company's Finance and Accounting functions. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and the effective implementation of financial policies, internal controls, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and accountability for the organization's finance and accounting functions, ensuring effective financial governance and operational excellence.

  • Establish, enhance, and maintain finance and accounting processes, internal controls, and best practices to strengthen efficiency, compliance, and team performance.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team while ensuring effective execution of all financial operations.

  • Oversee treasury management in collaboration with corporate finance functions to support liquidity, funding, and strategic financial objectives.

  • Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.

  • Ensure effective management of accounts receivable, billing processes, and working capital while maintaining healthy cash flow and minimizing financial risk.

  • Oversee expenditure management by ensuring compliance with corporate policies, optimizing cost efficiency, and maintaining robust payment controls.

  • Lead the preparation of management reports, financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans to support strategic decision-making.

  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process with executive leadership and present consolidated financial plans for executive and board approval.

  • Deliver financial analysis and business insights to senior management, supporting operational performance, profitability improvement, and informed decision-making.

  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial and business performance reports, including business unit analysis, to provide management with a clear understanding of the organization's financial position.

  • Monitor cash flow performance and oversee short- and long-term cash flow forecasting to ensure effective liquidity management.

  • Lead financial evaluations, feasibility studies, investment analyses, and financial modelling for new business initiatives, strategic projects, and business expansion opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable investment promotion, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements relevant to the organization's operations.

  • Serve as the primary finance representative for internal and external audits, coordinating audit activities and ensuring timely resolution of audit matters.

  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulatory obligations.

  • Partner with legal advisors on financial aspects of commercial agreements and other business-related contractual matters.

  • Undertake additional strategic finance responsibilities and special projects as assigned by executive management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in accounting or related field.

  • Extensive experience in Finance and Accounting, with expertise in Business Analysis, Budget Planning, Cost Control, Project Financial Management, or Audit functions.

  • Hold CPD license, CPA license is a plus.

  • Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading, listening).

  • Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
