International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global well-known industrial corporation. Our client, a reputable company with a strong presence on the Vietnam market, is seeking a HR expert in industrial related sector for Country HR Head position. This role will be based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Job Summary:

The Country HR Head is a valued member of the leadership team responsible for supporting the organization in achieving success for sustainable growth and effective workforce.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, strategy and coordination for all HR activities in the Country in line with organizational objectives
  • Provide value-add and efficient HR enabling support to the management team and all business divisions.
  • Provide high-quality consultancy on a diverse set of important Country and HR topics (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management/Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement & Retention, Learning & Development) and represents the Country's needs to Country CEO and APAC HR leadership team.
  • Translate global/ regional strategy into country specific needs and owns local implementation of HR programs and activities; and link appropriate HR teams to assure a sound HR service delivery.
  • Ensure the efficient local implementation and application of agreed upon Corporation HR directives, policies, processes, systems and programs in the Country and actively contribute to HR community group on Regional / Global level in order to enhance HR network and infuse country perspective into Regional and Global perspectives.
  • Build positive and performance-driven working environment, enforce company's core values

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Significant Human Resources experience at multinational companies
  • In-depth knowledge of all HR functions and previously demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Experience in change management
  • Proactive, energetic, result-oriented characteristic
  • Strategic mindset with a good business understanding, adept at delivering practical outcomes
