Monroe Consulting Group is representing a well-established mining company in the search for a DSTF Planner to support dry tailings facility operations.
This role plays a key part in ensuring alignment between engineering design, operational execution, and facility capacity, while maintaining safety and efficiency in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate long-term stacking sequence against actual site conditions
- Develop and execute short-term stacking plans for daily operations
- Monitor stacking progress, elevation, and area utilization
- Analyze production data & contractor performance (PA/MA/UA)
- Identify deviations and provide technical recommendations
- Coordinate with Operations, Geotech, Hydrology, and GIS teams
- Ensure compliance with technical design, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in mine planning / tailings / disposal facility
- Strong analytical skills in production data & operational planning
- Experience in contractor performance monitoring (PA/MA/UA)
- Familiarity with GIS / topographical data is an advantage
- POP certification is required
- Willing to work on-site in a dynamic mining environment
