DSTF Planner SPV (Mining)


Monroe Consulting Group is representing a well-established mining company in the search for a DSTF Planner to support dry tailings facility operations.
This role plays a key part in ensuring alignment between engineering design, operational execution, and facility capacity, while maintaining safety and efficiency in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate long-term stacking sequence against actual site conditions
  • Develop and execute short-term stacking plans for daily operations
  • Monitor stacking progress, elevation, and area utilization
  • Analyze production data & contractor performance (PA/MA/UA)
  • Identify deviations and provide technical recommendations
  • Coordinate with Operations, Geotech, Hydrology, and GIS teams
  • Ensure compliance with technical design, safety, and regulatory standards


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in mine planning / tailings / disposal facility
  • Strong analytical skills in production data & operational planning
  • Experience in contractor performance monitoring (PA/MA/UA)
  • Familiarity with GIS / topographical data is an advantage
  • POP certification is required
  • Willing to work on-site in a dynamic mining environment
