Electrical Engineer (Energy)


Monroe Consulting Group is currently assisting a multinational engineering company specializing in renewable energy and hydropower solutions in their search for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support global engineering projects and collaborate closely with international teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop electrical engineering designs and technical drawings, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable routing drawings.
  • Support project engineering activities in accordance with IEC and European electrical standards.
  • Collaborate with international engineering teams to ensure design accuracy, technical compliance, and successful project execution.
  • Participate throughout the project lifecycle, including engineering design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and technical support activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure technical alignment and project requirements are met.
  • Review technical specifications, electrical calculations, and project documentation to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting, design optimization, and technical problem-solving during project execution.
  • Assist in project planning, progress monitoring, and technical reporting as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably within power generation, renewable energy, industrial automation, EPC, or electrical contracting environments.
  • Strong experience in preparing electrical engineering drawings and documentation, including SLDs, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable routing.
  • Good understanding of IEC standards and international electrical engineering practices; exposure to European standards is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting international or global engineering projects is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of hydropower, power systems, industrial electrical systems, or renewable energy projects will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with project coordination and project management activities is preferred.
  • Proficient in engineering design software and electrical drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • German language capability is preferred but not required.
  • Willing to work full-time onsite in Alam Sutera, Tangerang.
