Our client is seeking a professional with five years of experience in tax accounting from an automotive or an electric vehicle manufacturing company for the job of Senior Tax Officer. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for import and export handling documents (including BL, COO, PIB & PEB, invoices, and packing lists).
- Ensuring all import and export documents comply with government regulations and requirements.
- Finding, researching, and recommending shipping agents and local logistics or transport agents.
- Responsible for coordination and communication with shipping agents, customs, customers, and partners.
- Monitor and update all information on import and export activities and make reports.
- Responsible and able to solve problems related to export and import activities.
- Coordination for local logistics and transport.
Job Requirement:
- Have experience working in the field of import-export for at least 10 years (Experience in automotive import will be preferred).
- Have good knowledge and skills in export import procedures and related regulations such as PIB/PEB, import regulations, and restrictions (PI, PERTEK, Lartas, etc.), HS Code, Customs audit, taxation, freight transport, logistics, etc.
- Having a PPJK certificate / Customs Expert will be an advantage.
- Mastering English both spoken and written.
- Experience in the process of homologation/vehicle-type testing will be a plus.
- Mastery of Mandarin will be a plus.
