Our respected client is seeking Mandarin-speaking Management Trainees (Supply Chain) to join their overseas factory-based development program within the Group's supply chain organization. This role is designed to develop future leaders who will manage factory operations, procurement, and supply chain coordination. The position will be based in Solo / Sidoarjo, Indonesia.
Job Description
Selected candidates will undergo a 6-month Management Training Program, where they will be assigned and rotated across factory operations to gain hands-on experience in supply chain and procurement functions.
Future Scope of Responsibilities:
Factory Supply Chain & Production Support
- Assist in order scheduling, capacity planning, and delivery timeline tracking
- Monitor production progress and coordinate issue resolution
- Liaise with production, quality, sales, and HQ supply chain teams
Local Supplier Development & Management
- Support development of local suppliers and sourcing strategies
- Participate in supplier evaluation, onboarding, and management
Material Tracking & Issue Handling
- Track raw materials, inventory, and production usage
- Assist in resolving material shortages, quality issues, and discrepancies
- Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions
Procurement Process Optimization & Projects
- Support cross-functional projects across procurement, production, and quality
- Assist in improving purchasing, material handling, and ERP-related processes
Key Requirements
- Open for fresh graduates (1 year experience is a plus)
- Education: xBachelor / Master's degree (all majors welcome)
- Mandarin proficiency is mandatory (intermediate level: speaking, listening, reading, writing)
- English proficiency is preferred
- Willing to be placed in Solo / Sidoarjo
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to manufacturing / footwear / textile / garment industry
- Internship or project experience related to supply chain or factory operations
- Basic understanding of ERP systems or procurement processes
- Experience in factory visits or on-site operations is a plus
