Finance Director (Manufacturing)


Monroe Executive Search is currently partnering with a leading flour manufacturing company in Indonesia to identify a Finance Director.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving financial strategy, business performance, governance, and transformation across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and MIS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial strategy, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, CAPEX planning, and performance management.
  • Oversee accounting, tax, treasury, cash flow, financial reporting, audit, and internal controls.
  • Drive profitability, cash flow optimization, capital effectiveness, and financial risk management.
  • Manage FX and commodity price hedging activities to mitigate financial risks.
  • Oversee procurement strategy for non-wheat materials, including supplier management, contract governance, and cost optimization.
  • Lead SAP ERP, MIS, automation, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure strong IT governance, cybersecurity, system reliability, and business continuity.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the President Director and shareholders on financial performance, business risks, investments, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead and develop senior teams across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Budgeting, Procurement, and MIS.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, shareholders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive strong governance, compliance, integrity, and continuous improvement across the organization.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or related leadership roles, with Finance Director/CFO-level experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in manufacturing, preferably food, FMCG, consumer goods, or process manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting, taxation, treasury, cash flow management, and corporate governance.
  • Experience in FX and/or commodity price hedging is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ERP, MIS, and digital transformation.
  • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional teams and engaging with senior management, shareholders, banks, auditors, and regulators.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
