The company is currently seeking a GPO / Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Source-to-Pay to serve as the business process authority for procurement and payables within a major ERP Transformation Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Lead, or Process Owner, preferably within the Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or F&B industry. This is a business leadership and process transformation role, rather than a purely technical IT position. The successful candidate will bring 10-15+ years of procurement or supply chain experience and proven expertise in end-to-end ERP transformation, particularly SAP S/4HANA, with the ability to translate business requirements into standardized, automated, and scalable Source-to-Pay processes.

Job Summary
Act as the Global Process Owner (GPO) and business Subject Matter Expert for the Source-to-Pay (S2P) function within the company's ERP transformation program.Own the end-to-end procurement and payables process design, covering sourcing, contracting, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payment.Define and standardize procurement processes across direct materials, raw materials, packaging, indirect spend, services, and capital expenditures. Partner closely with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), Finance, Operations, IT, and System Integrator (SI) partner to deliver an integrated and future-ready procurement organization.Drive the transformation toward standardized, automated, compliant, and data-driven procurement processes.Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs, eliminate maverick spending, strengthen spend governance, and improve process efficiency. Establish processes that provide management with real-time visibility into procurement commitments, supplier spend, purchasing activities, and financial impact.
Key Job Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Transformation
- Lead the design and standardization of the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process within the ERP transformation.
- Define business requirements, process flows, policies, controls, and governance standards.
- Ensure procurement processes are aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and process optimization.
SAP S/4HANA & ERP Transformation
- Serve as the business SME for SAP S/4HANA procurement processes, particularly SAP MM and related S2P modules.
- Provide functional input throughout the design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization phases of the ERP transformation.
- Work closely with the SI partner to ensure the system solution accurately reflects approved business processes.
- Support integration between ERP and supplier portals, e-invoicing platforms, procurement platforms, and external vendor networks.
Procurement & Sourcing Governance
- Establish strong controls across requisitioning, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice processing, and payment workflows.
- Strengthen spend compliance and procurement governance across the organization.
- Drive initiatives to reduce maverick buying, off-contract spending, and process leakage.
- Ensure procurement policies and approval controls are embedded into the ERP environment.
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and other business functions.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable process and system requirements.
- Lead stakeholder alignment and support change management and user adoption during the transformation.
- Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise to procurement teams throughout the implementation.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish relevant KPIs, process metrics, and performance dashboards for Source-to-Pay.
- Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve S2P processes following ERP implementation.
Job Key Requirements
- 10-15+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain, preferably within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Food Manufacturing, or related industries.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Lead, Process Owner, GPO, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, or Supply Chain Manager.
- Demonstrated involvement in multiple full-cycle ERP transformation or implementation projects, ideally 3+ end-to-end implementations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM (Materials Management) and preferably exposure to SAP SRM, SAP Ariba, or equivalent Source-to-Pay platforms.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay workflows, including PR → PO → GR → Invoice Matching → Payment.
- Experience integrating ERP platforms with supplier portals, e-invoicing systems, procurement platforms, or external vendor networks.
- Strong track record in procurement transformation, process standardization, automation, and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to reduce maverick spending, improve spend compliance, optimize procurement costs, and strengthen procurement controls.
- Strong stakeholder management, process leadership, analytical, and change-management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels, working with senior leadership while understanding detailed procurement processes.
