Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on manufacturing building materials. As expansion continues, our client is seeking human resources professionals with at least 20 years of experience with a multinational company for the job of GM Human Resources (Industrial Relations & External Affairs). The job is based in Bogor, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Directly reports to CEO
  • Advise senior management on (strategic) HR and Industrial Relations matters
  • Defining and building the right company culture and employee mindset
  • Managing employee relationships through counseling for preventive action
  • Coordinate the implementation of employee programs and employee relations
  • Review and revise company regulations /(PP), and labor-related policies and procedures
  • Build constructive relationships between all stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Facilitate and maintain good working relationships with relevant government bodies, other industry bodies, and external parties
  • Monitor internal and external labor relations trends and provide relevant recommendations
  • Maintain and update all labor-related policies and procedures and ensure the enforcement and adherence of these policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree from relevant programs from top universities
  • Minimum of 20 years experience in HR industrial relations and external affairs
  • Have good knowledge of Indonesia labor laws, rules & regulations, solicitor, and contract drafting
  • Have good knowledge in interpersonal skills, conflict management and collaboration skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Has a high level of integrity, sound analytical thinking and self-driven
  • Able to work under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Understand well the labour law
  • Excellent leadership and people skills
  • Strong organisational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution
