Head of IT - SEA (Energy Manufacturing)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational Energy Manufacturing Company for the role of Head of IT - SEA. The position will be based in Sumatera, Indonesia.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals, optimizing processes and enabling digital transformation.
  • Lead technological innovation initiatives, including automation, digital process solutions, and cybersecurity programs.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, and security, ensuring stability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Implement and manage enterprise systems such as ERP and MES to enhance production, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams to integrate IT solutions that drive cost reduction and operational improvements.
  • Promote data collection and analytics to support smart manufacturing and digital initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional IT teams, ensuring alignment with global IT strategies.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships to leverage the latest technology solutions.
  • Oversee IT budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and cost-effective.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the successful deployment and maintenance of global IT projects, adapting implementations to regional needs.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in senior IT leadership roles with proven success in driving digital and technological transformation.
  • Experience in complex organizational structures, preferably in manufacturing, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise systems, software development, ERP/MES, ITIL practices, and digital integration.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, consolidate, and upgrade enterprise systems.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, prioritizing projects, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
