Head of Manufacturing

The Manufacturing Head is a results-oriented leader with extensive experience in leading and optimizing large-scale semiconductor and electronics manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality production within a fast-paced, high-tech environment. As a strategic leader, you will be adept at integrating advanced manufacturing technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams to meet ambitious production targets and support business growth. You will guide engineering and production teams, implement cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, and ensure strict adherence to stringent industry standards to deliver market-leading products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production Management

  • Oversee and manage the end-to end daily manufacturing operations of the Batangas plant to ensure production schedules, volume targets, and yield objectives are consistently met.Spearhead the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies and cutting-edge techniques to automate, digitize, and future-proof production lines.
  • Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and equipment utilization to optimize throughput and handle fluctuating market demands.


Financial Performance & Cost Control

  • Manage and optimize the manufacturing budget, keeping a sharp focus on reducing operational expenditures (OPEX) and manufacturing costs.
  • Identify and eliminate waste across the production lifecycle, optimizing raw material usage and labor efficiency to maximize profitability.


Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance

  • Drive a site-wide culture of continuous improvement by leveraging methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes strictly adhere to international quality and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 for automotive electronics, ISO 14001).
  • Partner closely with the Quality Assurance team to minimize defect rates, handle root-cause analysis for failures, and implement robust corrective actions.



Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and empower a large cross-functional team of production managers, shift supervisors, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Build a high-performing team culture centered on accountability, safety, skill versatility, and professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Maintenance, and HR to ensure seamless plant-wide alignment.


Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or a related technical discipline). An MBA or advanced degree in Operations Management is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience within large-scale electronics or semiconductor manufacturing operations.
  • Track Record: Proven success in a senior plant operations role (e.g., Manufacturing Manager, Operations Head) within a multinational or global corporate environment.


Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of electronics assembly processes (SMT, PCBA, testing, packaging) or semiconductor backend operations.
  • Methodologies: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt with a strong execution track record in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal and strategic leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage large, diverse workforces and drive change management.
  • Language: Strong communication skills in English; ability to confidently present operational metrics to international executive stakeholders.
