Head of Sales (Intralogistics / Warehouse Automation)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on intralogistics and system solutions. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 years' experience in sales and operation in multinational company for the job of Head of Sales. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Direct report to Country Manager
  • Lead and drive Indonesia sales performance, including revenue growth, gross margin, order intake, and key commercial KPIs
  • Support country financial performance and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning together with regional and finance teams
  • Drive profitable growth while optimizing sales effectiveness, pricing strategies, and resource utilization
  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategies for the Indonesia market, adapting to market conditions and opportunities
  • Monitor performance, analyse market trends, and build strong customer and partner relationships to drive business growth
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governance, and ethical practices within the commercial function
  • Build, develop, and empower a high-performing local sales organization, working closely with operations and support functions
  • Act as a key management representative for Indonesia and support the overall country leadership agenda, with readiness to take on broader country management responsibilities over time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field with at least 15 years' experience in sales and intralogistics, in multinational company
  • Proven leadership experience in intralogistics or similar industries, including warehouse automation, material handling, supply chain technology, industrial equipment, or logistics and automation solutions
  • Proven success in leading sales teams and driving revenue growth against targets and budgets
  • Good understanding of the Indonesian market, business practices, regulatory environment, and customer landscape
  • Experience operating in a regional or matrix organization
  • Highly results-driven, with strong commercial acumen and execution focus
  • Demonstrated management capability and potential to take on broader country leadership responsibilities
