IT Audit Manager (Banking)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a well-established banking institution in Indonesia. As part of its continued growth and commitment to strengthening governance and risk management practices, our client is seeking an experienced IT audit professional for the position of IT Audit Manager. The role is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute end-to-end IT audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance, cybersecurity controls, IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, infrastructure, and technology risk management frameworks to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and senior management to assess technology-related risks, strengthen internal controls, and support the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Monitor emerging technology risks, regulatory changes, and cybersecurity trends, providing proactive recommendations to enhance the bank's IT control environment and operational resilience.
  • Mentor and develop junior auditors while driving continuous improvement in audit methodologies, ensuring high-quality audit deliverables and timely completion of audit assignments.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk or IT Assurance, with a strong preference for candidates from the banking, financial services, or financial consulting sectors.
  • Proven experience with a Big Four consulting firm specializing in Technology Risk, IT Audit, IT Assurance, or related advisory services, with exposure to complex financial institutions.
  • Professional certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is highly preferred. Additional certifications including CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CIA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders, provide risk-based recommendations, and lead complex audit engagements with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
