Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a multinational pharmaceutical company. Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager responsible for retail key account management, leading engagement with key pharmacy accounts, ensuring optimal product availability, and executing demand-generation strategies to maximize sales performance and market penetration. This is a field-based role. Weekly meetings are held every Monday at the office located in Alabang, Metro Manila.
Job Responsibilities:
- Retail Key Account Management: Lead engagement with major retail pharmacy chains, ensuring consistent product availability across branches and driving demand-generation initiatives.
- Government Hospital Tenders: Manage tender participation with a strong focus on profitability, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability.
- Industrial Accounts: Drive market penetration within large corporate groups by expanding access to healthcare products through employee benefit and wellness programs.
- Hospital Partnerships: Strengthen collaborations with hospital networks to increase product access, utilization, and adoption.
- Patient Access Programs: Implement and expand patient navigation and access initiatives to enhance treatment accessibility, affordability, and patient support.
- Build, manage, and grow strategic long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, including procurement managers, hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and proactively address business challenges.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with organizational policies, local regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical practices.
Key job qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven track record in pharmaceutical or healthcare key account management, with at least 3 years handling Mercury Drugstore (MDC), Watsons, or SSD accounts.
- Solid experience in government hospital tender participation and industrial account penetration.
