Our respected client is seeking an analytic and organized professional for the job of Marketing Data Scientist. The job is currently a remote work in the Philippines.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Data Scientist is responsible for writing queries and running reports, building data visualizations, performing data analysis, and coming up with or be tasked with exciting ad-hoc projects.
Key job responsibilities:
- Build and enhance statistical models to measure campaign performance, including but not limited to predictive LTV/ROAS Models, saturation and diminishing return projections
- Perform hands-on analyses using SQL/Python
- Define metrics, understand A/B testing and statistical measurement of model quality
- Lead data collection, coding, QA and harmonization and insights-driven analytics for client deliverables
- Help to automate reporting and other recurring client deliverables
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline data science solutions.
- Develop client deliverables with clearly articulated data-driven insights and recommendations
- Proactively identify data-driven solutions that enhance planning, measurement and optimizations based on understanding of client business challenges
Key job requirements:
- With at least 3 years of business experience in a data science role or 1+ years of experience in a data science function for a media agency
- Bachelor of Science in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or other quantitative discipline
- Ability to write structured and efficient SQL queries on large data sets
- Experience with Python/R for data wrangling, modeling, and analyses
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with a variety of data tools and relational databases
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure that data / analytics solutions deliver successfully on business outcomes
- Experience with Web Analytics software, ad serving platforms, campaign management, and paid search engine data sources
- Experience working with BI tools and advanced excel skills
- Knowledge of media and advertising (media buying, paid search and social, email, and social media platforms)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be open to a night shift schedule
