Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation within the Information Technology industry to hire a Materials Designer. This opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Position Overview
The Materials Designer is responsible for creating visually engaging materials across training, sales, and marketing functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent branding and enhancing communication effectiveness across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop training materials, on boarding guides, sales decks, presentation templates, and marketing collateral's
- Create visually engaging materials aligned with branding guidelines
- Support internal and external communication initiatives through high-quality visual design
- Collaborate with business, marketing, product, and operations teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions
- Ensure consistency in layout, typography, branding, and visual storytelling across all materials
- Prepare design files for digital usage and presentation purposes
- Manage multiple projects and timelines effectively while maintaining design quality
- Continuously improve design standards and user engagement across all materials.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, presentation design, or marketing material development
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and presentation tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Strong layout, typography, and visual communication skills
- Experience in fintech, technology, retail, or digital product industries is an advantage
