Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to build scalable and high-performance Android solutions while ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Android applications using modern development practices and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver new features and product enhancements.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability across various Android devices.
- Implement testing strategies, including unit and UI testing, to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Monitor application health, performance, and crashes using analytics and monitoring tools.
- Contribute to application architecture, technical design decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging Android technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and user experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, with solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android UI development.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar approaches.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Hilt, Dagger) and modular application structures.
- Familiarity with Firebase services, push notifications, local databases, location services, and mobile performance optimization.
- Experience with testing frameworks and best practices for maintaining application quality.
- Understanding of Android application deployment, release management, and Google Play Store processes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, RxJava, A/B testing, and application monitoring tools is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
