Operations Director Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a premiere resort and casino. Our respective client is looking for an Operations Director who will manage the daily operations of the hotel resort. This role requires onsite reporting from Mondays-Fridays and will be reporting to the President.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Implement the right processes and practices across the organization
- Formulate strategy, improve performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance
- Mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field
- At least 8 years work experience as Operations Manager/Director
- Superior organizational and time management skills for effective planning and execution of objectives
- Strong sense of self-motivation and professional responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure
- Eagerness to communicate outside of working hours on urgent and priority issues
- Willingness to support the needs of other departments if necessary
- Ability to work in a close-knit team setting
