Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a company that imports, wholesale, and distributes frozen meats, seafood, and poultry. Our respected client is seeking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end operations for the importation, warehousing, inventory management, cold chain logistics, and distribution of frozen meat, seafood, and poultry products across the Philippines. The role ensures efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, inventory control, and customer service. This role has a onsite work requirement in Mandaluyong and will be reporting to the company Owner.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Supply Chain & Logistics: Own and optimize inbound and outbound flows; ensure timely, accurate, cost-efficient delivery across all channels and regions.
  • Supervise Cold-Chain Warehousing & Inventory: Oversee cold storage and ambient warehousing teams/3PLs; ensure inventory accuracy, correct FEFO/FIFO storage, temperature integrity, and on-time order fulfilment.
  • Manage Vendors, 3PLs & Systems: Track performance of 3PL, cold-storage, and transport partners against SLAs and cost; oversee the ERP (NetSuite) for real-time operations data and reporting.
  • Cost & Performance Management: Set and monitor operations KPIs (OTIF, fill rate, cost-to-serve, spoilage, dock/throughput); drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Customer Service so operations support revenue and growth targets.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Enforce trade/customs, NMIS, and food-safety compliance; protect company data; uphold strict non-compete and confidentiality obligations.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (Master's a plus).
  • 5-7+ years in logistics, warehousing, and distribution, preferably in food/FMCG or cold chain, with managerial scope.
  • ERP-savvy (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel; strong command of inventory, logistics, and cross-border/inland trade practices.
  • Strong leadership, structured problem-solving, and team management; able to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
