JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the overall Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, and Utilities operations of the plant to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance
  • Oversee plant facilities, equipment repairs, renovations, and infrastructure improvement projects to support operational requirements and business growth
  • Ensure uninterrupted and efficient supply of critical plant utilities including electricity, water, steam, compressed air, and refrigeration systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, energy efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence
  • Manage engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, contractor management, and commissioning activities
  • Establish, review, and continuously improve engineering policies, standard operating procedures, and maintenance systems aligned with company objectives
  • Ensure full compliance with government regulations and company standards related to environmental management, pollution control, occupational safety, and food manufacturing requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline
  • Licensed Engineer is an advantage
  • Minimum of 8-10 years progressive experience in Plant Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities Management, preferably within food, beverage, or canning manufacturing industries
  • Proven leadership experience in managing Maintenance, Utilities, Facilities, and Capital Projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems, plant utilities, equipment reliability, and engineering best practices
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing regulatory requirements, environmental compliance, pollution control, and safety standards
  • Demonstrated capability in managing contractors, budgets, CAPEX projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
