Primary Function:

Responsible in developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies, optimizing revenue, and ensuring profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Head of Pricing and Account Management
  • Leads engagement with global partners, streamlining communication and collaboration to optimize operational workflows.
  • Streamline Account Management processes in collaboration with other departments to minimize customer confusion and boost service efficiency.
  • Track and evaluate the sales performance of Account Management Officers, while reviewing the department's overall results.
  • Conducts coaching, mentoring, and training for subordinates.
  • Analyze account metrics, prepare performance reports, and identify actionable insights to drive improvement.
  • Lead negotiations with customers and global partners/agents to strengthen commercial relationships, secure competitive agreements, and expand market reach.
  • Create and implement comprehensive account plans by assessing customer needs, developing tailored strategies to meet those needs, and continuously tracking account performance, production, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement pricing models for freight, transportation, and supply chain services.
  • Ensure pricing aligns with business goals, customer expectations, and market trends.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis for transportation, warehousing, customs clearance and other logistics services.
  • Benchmark pricing strategies against competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop customer-specific pricing solutions.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure pricing strategies reflect real-time logistics constraints.
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with key clients and vendors.
  • Ensure pricing policies adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Identify potential risks in pricing models and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain transparency in pricing structures to avoid legal or contractual disputes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field (master's degree is an advantage)
  • At least more than 5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management or financial analysis within logistics or transportation industry.
  • Written and verbal communication skills. $\cdot$ Having good knowledge of foreign trade, forwarding, import/export process and customs.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Familiarity with global logistics regulations and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
