Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational Steel Manufacturing Company to be based in Cikande, Serang
Job Requirements :
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the metal, alloy, and ferro scrap landscape to ensure consistent raw material supply in support of production requirements.
- Process direct and indirect material and service purchase orders to fulfill internal stakeholder needs.
- Prepare formal purchase requisitions, ensuring quantity, quality specifications, cost, and delivery timelines align with actual requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits and lead supplier development programs to safeguard business continuity.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors with strong consideration for compliance, including adherence to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery & Corruption practices.
- Apply a structured comparison process (minimum of 3 open bidders) to secure the most competitive combination of quality, cost, and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end purchasing process.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or any related field.
- Proven experience in procurement/purchasing, ideally within a manufacturing, mining, or metal/steel industry environment, familiarity with metal, alloy, or ferro scrap sourcing is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and vendor management.
- Working knowledge of compliance principles, including Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) practices.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement/ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
- High level of integrity, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to be based in Cikande Serang.
