Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Healthcare industry to hire a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO). This opportunity is based in Kota Damansara, Malaysia and is open to expats.
Position Overview
The role ensures the delivery of clinical prosthetic and orthotic services in line with established protocols. It directly impacts patient outcomes and supports the organisation's commitment to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and clinical evaluations.
● Develop appropriate prosthetic and orthotic prescriptions.
● Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of devices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
● Monitor patient progress and provide necessary follow-up care.
● Document clinical findings and provide technical input for specialist and medico-legal reports.
● Liaise with the technical team to ensure device fabrication meets clinical requirements.
● Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Managing & Clinical Director.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor's Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) from a recognised institution.
● Valid professional CPO certification/credentials.
● Proven clinical experience in patient assessment and fitting.
Technical / Functional Expertise
● Strong knowledge of prosthetic and orthotic device prescription, fitting, and adjustment.
● Ability to provide technical input for medico-legal reporting.
● Experience liaising with technical teams to ensure fabrication meets clinical requirements.
