Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading F&B company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years' experience in purchasing for the job of Purchasing Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Manage and oversee the company's purchasing operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with market trends and business needs.
- Conduct supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance monitoring to ensure quality and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
- Analyze market conditions and cost structures to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure proper inventory control.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or at a managerial level.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Background in retail or food service industry is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic, cost-effective decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Accpac and Dynamics.
- Strong capability in supplier evaluation and management.
- Good understanding of inventory management principles.
