Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the largest group of restaurants in the country. Our respected client is seeking a Research & Development Officer with intensive experience in meat processing or baking. The job is based in Pasig City.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Product research and process development, improvement of new and bestselling products for its assigned category.
- Leading innovation projects related to quality consistency and process
- Leading cost improvement of assigned products as aligned with the SBU's business objectives.
- Spearheading the development and improvement of assigned product category.
- Coordinating with and assisting other R&D Specialists to ensure required parameters of assigned product category and process development and improvement projects, including reformulation and re-engineering are met.
- Recommending and implementing the review/study of food manufacturing equipment, process improvements or alternative raw materials for upgrading or updating for commercialization.
- Serving as subject matter expert and provides technical assistance for Research and Development matters.
Job requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's or College degree on Food technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or any related Science Course.
- At least four years of relevant experience as Research and Development in the baked food manufacturing industry.
- Must be willing to work in Pasig.
