Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial industry to hire a Rewards Manager (APAC). This opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Position Overview
The role is responsible for delivering high-quality Total Rewards solutions and providing expert compensation and benefits advisory across the Asia Pacific region. It plays a critical role in supporting business performance, driving competitive reward strategies, and enhancing employee value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business and HR management, deliver Total Rewards solutions to support business objectives.
- Lead the sales and local incentive review process by providing advisory support and conducting effectiveness studies.
- Ensure job architecture and evaluation processes comply with company policies and principles.
- Manage the off-cycle compensation review process to ensure effective spending.
- Develop and deliver Total Rewards solutions that support business growth and enhance the employee value proposition.
- Improve the Total Rewards knowledge and capabilities of HR teams and people leaders to make informed compensation decisions.
- Oversee benefits programs to ensure a good balance of market competitiveness, talent attraction and retention, and company impact.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and governance.
- As a key member of the AP Total Rewards team, contribute to regional Total Rewards initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Annual compensation bench marking and salary structure review
- Year-end compensation planning process
- AIM and Equity program deployment in the region
- Regional policies and process development and implementation
- Deliver assigned global Total Rewards projects on behalf of the AP region, including Workday implementation and change management, pay transparency projects, etc.
- This position interfaces internally with senior business leaders and HR leaders of the supported business organisations, Global Total Rewards team, as well as other HR functions in AP.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 8-10 years of in-depth experience in Compensation & Benefits function in a multinational corporation (MNC), with preferred experience in North and Southeast Asia.
- Familiarity with corporate working environments and a strong understanding of business operations.
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of regional compensation and benefits practices, labour laws, and market trends.
- Proficiency in HRIS, mastery of the Workday system is preferred
