Sales Development Engineer ASEAN (Machine Vision)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in machine vision. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 3 years' experience in machine vision for the job of Sales Development Engineer. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report directly to Regional Sales Manager
  • Handle Inbound Calls, Leads & Chat effectively from India & ASEAN (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia)
  • Qualifying leads from various channels within 1 day and converting them into potential for sales
  • Close monitoring with sales in ensuring opportunities are created at potential
  • Selling products to end users primarily via telephone or electronic channels.
  • Ensuring leads are followed up in a timely manner and managing leads to sales activity.
  • Maintaining the Salesforce system and providing information to increase effectiveness and aid sales.
  • Ability to conduct cold calls and successfully convert them into qualified appointments for sales-led product introductions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years machine vision related sales working experience preferred.
  • Qualifying leads from various sources and converting them into sales.
  • Passing qualified leads to the field sales engineer for additional visits if necessary.
  • Selling products to end users primarily via telephone or electronic channels.
  • Maintaining contact with existing customers and developing new customers to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
  • Ensuring leads are followed up in a timely manner and managing leads to sales activity.
  • Assisting in marketing activities.
  • Maintaining the Salesforce system and providing information to increase effectiveness and aid sales.
  • Outbound Calls associated to machine vision products and industrial automation
