Sales Director


Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy company that is focused on solar energy solutions and smart energy management. Our respective client is looking for a Sales Director who will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong client relationships across utilities, government entities, and private sector clients. The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise, a strong network, and a proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams in technically complex environments. The role will be reporting to the company CEO with Hybrid/Remote and field work requirement in Cebu City.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets across renewable energy, AMI, and electrical equipment portfolios
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales organization, fostering a results-driven and accountable culture
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with utilities, EPC contractors, government agencies, and large commercial clients
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and solution positioning to contract negotiation and closing
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver tailored, technically sound solutions
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to refine go-to-market strategies
  • Oversee key account management to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships
  • Drive pricing strategy, commercial terms, and contract structuring to optimize profitability
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to senior leadership.


Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and account management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Proven track record in renewable energy, AMI, smart grid, or electrical equipment sales
  • Strong understanding of utility markets, energy regulations, and infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex deals and long sales cycles
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
