Sales Engineer (Machinery)


Monroe Consulting Group is representing a prominent machinery company and is currently seeking a Sales Engineer for their operations in Kalimantan. This role is ideal for a motivated and early-career professional with an interest in heavy machinery sales and technical support.

Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to support sales activities by providing technical assistance and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a basic understanding of customer needs, effective communication with dealers, and assisting in managing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Assist in executing sales plans and supporting the achievement of sales targets, particularly focusing on excavators.
  • Technical Support: Provide product knowledge and basic technical guidance to customers to help match equipment with their needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Support the development and maintenance of relationships with customers and dealers.
  • Marketing Plan Implementation: Assist in promoting and executing marketing plans and product campaigns.
  • Market Intelligence: Support market research and gather insights about the Kalimantan equipment market.
  • Leasing Company Coordination: Assist in maintaining relationships with local leasing companies and support financing discussions.


Requirements:

  • 3- 4 years of experience in sales, engineering, or the heavy machinery industry (fresh graduates with relevant exposure are welcome).
  • Basic understanding of heavy machinery or strong willingness to learn.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a responsible, flexible, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
