Sales Manager (Power & Energy)

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and secure new EPC opportunities across the power and energy sector, including government projects, IPPs, and industrial clients, with a focus on conventional power generation.
  • Identify and develop a strong project pipeline by tracking market trends, government initiatives, and upcoming tender opportunities.
  • Lead commercial activities throughout the EPC project lifecycle, including client engagement, tender participation, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop competitive commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and financial models to support successful project bids.
  • Evaluate commercial and contractual risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies and contract terms are in place.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, partners, and industry players to drive long-term business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to align technical solutions with commercial objectives.
  • Manage both new business development and existing client relationships to maximize revenue and expand market presence.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in business development, commercial, or EPC roles within the power, energy, or oil & gas industry.
  • Strong experience with conventional power generation projects (coal, gas, or thermal power plants).
  • Proven track record in managing EPC tenders, bidding processes, and commercial negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of commercial strategy, financial analysis, pricing, and contract management.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate effectively with both engineering and commercial stakeholders.
  • Established network within the Indonesian energy and infrastructure sector is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Willing to travel as required.
