Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities from government programs, IPP developers, and international tenders.
- Conduct market analysis including project feasibility, competitor landscape, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering process, including prequalification, proposal preparation, and bid submission.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Finance) to develop technical and commercial proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Lead contract negotiations and support commercial structuring of EPC agreements.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships and consortiums with OEMs, contractors, and financial institutions.
- Support development of pricing strategies, cost structures, and risk allocation frameworks.
- Maintain and track a robust project pipeline, including reporting on bid status and market insights.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or commercial roles within EPC, power generation, or infrastructure sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy) or related field; business background with strong technical exposure is also acceptable.
- Strong understanding of power plant projects (e.g., CCGT, coal, renewable) and EPC project lifecycle.
- Experience in tendering, bid management, and proposal development for large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of EPC contract structures, pricing strategies, and risk management concepts.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and local requirements in the energy sector.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
