Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational company in Oil & Gas Services. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years'years' experience in accounting in a multinational company for the job of Senior Accountant. The job is based in South Tangerang, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Direct report to Regional Finance Asia Pacific
- Perform monthly close processes, journal entries, and GLGL reconciliations.
- Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger; prepare PP&E and CapExCapEx reports.
- Maintain tax ledgers and ensure accurate reporting of VAT, PPHPPH 21/23, and annual CIT filings.
- Support compliance with Indonesian DGTDGT requirements and global transfer pricing regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the tax authority (DJPDJP) for audits and correspondence.
- Monitor and update lease accounting software and prepaid amortizationamortization schedules.
- Prepare accruals and support corporate tax reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with SOXSOX internal controls and support process documentation.
- Provide guidance to junior team members as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's or MBA preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in accounting with at least 5 years in Indonesian tax compliance.
- Strong exposure to international tax and transfer pricing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERPERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (VAT, WHTWHT, CIT, TPTP).
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in BahasaBahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multinational setting.
