Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a renowned international money transfer processing company. Our highly respected client is looking for Senior Business Development Manager who will be responsible for managing business development projects for the Philippine market, including the management of:

  • Business with Remittance Partners (Banks and Non-Bank Philippine Payers)
  • Digital Business Partners (White Label and API agreements)
  • Corporate Development Projects in the Philippines
  • Corporate Responsibility Projects

Goal:

  • To maintain and consolidate existing businesses.
  • Develop new business opportunities


Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute new business opportunities for:
    • Digital Business
    • Wholesale and International Processing
  • Assist SVP of International Business of Servicio Uniteller Inc. and Country Director of UniTeller Filipino, Inc. in keeping the relationship with tie-up partners and management of Existing Business Development Areas as follows


Wholesale Business

  • Leads data analysis, strategic planning, and reporting to respective heads relative to transaction traffic, pricing, and new business opportunities with existing partners
  • Contribute strategic ideas, data analysis, business plans and reporting to the team
  • Responsible on implementing agreed action plans in line with corporate initiatives and business strategies
  • Responsible on helping Global International Business on sourcing potential tie-up partners in Asia.
  • Serves as primary liaison to partners, SVP of International Business and Country Director of Uniteller
  • Develop marketing plan and commercial efforts related to the Wholesale Processing
  • Ensure that all issues related to payers, partners and projects are being coordinated to involved unit.
  • Lead BD Unit in coordinating integration activities for new partners and updates to Head Office
  • Ensure that the team provides support to partners.
  • Responsible on assigning point of contact for operational issues.


Digital Business

  • Contribute and/or execute Marketing strategies for Digital Business together with the Global Marketing Unit.
  • Assist with developing marketing plans and commercial efforts for Digital Business


Other Projects and Responsibilities

  • Leads the preparation and ensure follow-up of business reports related to the business (transactions, pricing, etc.)
  • Recommends travel planning for the approval of the Country Director and / or Global VP for international business
  • Assist Regional Marketing Manager in corporate and marketing events in the Philippines/Asia and Assist in the US, if needed.
  • Work with the Regional Marketing Manager in all commercial efforts in the Philippines
  • Primary responsible on designing, developing, and coordinating Corporate Responsibility Projects
  • Conducts periodic performance review of each staff under BD Unit
  • Conduct/ attend weekly meetings with the Global International Business team (if necessary).
  • Primary responsible on reporting to internal stakeholders thru monthly business reviews

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited four-year College or University; preferably in Business Administration, Finance and/or Marketing, project and/or product management experience in financial industry
  • Solid knowledge and experience in local and international money service business is required.
  • Masteral/MBA Degree is an advantage, not required
  • Six (6) to Eight (8) years on Business Administration, Finance and/or Marketing, project and/or product management experience in Banks or Non-banks industry.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills needed to speak with customers and potential partner, forums, panel discussion, etc
  • Ability to identify the need for resources and obtaining them in a timely manner
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills
  • Strong knowledge for constructing, writing business plans, complex reports, working papers and presentations for sophisticated audiences
  • Ability to adapt easily to new technology and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and implement new skills
  • Willing to travel domestic or international on short notice, if needed
  • Bilingual - English/Tagalog
